5 green businesses to support this Earth Day

Since 1970, April 22 has marked Earth Day in the United States. The annual event is meant to celebrate our planet and raise awareness about protecting our natural resources.

So, in honor of the 53rd annual Earth Day, we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite eco-friendly stores. Whenever you make a purchase at any of these earth-conscious stores this Earth Day (or any day!), money will automatically be donated to the cause of your choice!

Eco-friendly stores to support this Earth Day

Happy Earth

A certified B-corp, Happy Earth is an eco-friendly store that sells responsibly made clothing, accessories, and other sustainable goods. Every order comes with a collectible pin that helps you track your environmental impact.

EarthHero

EarthHero is a one-stop eco-friendly store for sustainable products. You’ll find beauty products, tech goods, kitchen items, pet supplies, clothing, and so much more. You can even shop by values, such as plastic-free products, upcycled materials, and woman-owned brands.

Thrive Market

If you like buying organic food but hate spending your whole paycheck, you’ll love Thrive Market. One of the best eco-friendly stores for groceries and household items, Thrive Market has everything from organic pantry staples to plant-powered cleaning items to sustainable meat and seafood.

Eco Sports

Seeing the toll that manufacturing sporting goods was having on our earth, Eco Sports set out to find a more environmentally-friendly solution. They make high-quality, cruelty-free sports equipment using biodegradable faux leather and other sustainable products, including soccer balls, basketballs, footballs, and pickleballs.

RMS Beauty

RMS was founded by Rose-Marie Swift, a pioneer in the clean beauty movement. The popular beauty company offers a full suite of lovely products made from clean, responsibly sourced ingredients and packaged in recyclable glass jars or other easy-to-recycle materials.
